Library services

The Library of Science specialises in electronic and printed books, journals, reference works, and databases in STEM subjects (science, technology, engineering and mathematics). There is a range of study spaces and group rooms, and scanning, printing, and copying are available.

Each of the branch libraries offers services and support for learning and research. Our librarians are experts in information searching and are there to help students and staff find scientific information.

In close collaboration with course coordinators and lecturers, our librarians advise students on information searching, source criticism, and academic integrity. We provide special services for students and staff with reading impairments.

Network access

Students or staff

Students or staff can connect using their Eduroam network access, the international roaming service used by many universities worldwide. Before you can use Eduroam for the first time, you will need to configure the correct settings on your device.

Read the instructions on how to connect to Eduroam – lunduniversity.lu.se

Guests

If you are neither a student nor a member of staff, you can connect using the LU Guest network. Follow these steps to connect:

  1. Choose LU Guest amongst the available networks on your device and connect to it.
  2. Start a web browser on your device.
  3. You should get to a webpage that asks for registration by SMS. If you do not get to the webpage automatically, try to surf to a random page (for example lu.se) and it will redirect you to the registration page.
  4. Type in your name and your phone number.
  5. Accept the terms of use and click on Register.
  6. Type in the code you will receive by SMS and click on Log in.

You are now connected. Please note that the duration of the internet connection is limited to 24 hours.
